As a Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT), Certified Ophthalmic Executive (COE), and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB), she has a proven record of transforming ophthalmic organizations through strategic guidance, high-performance team development, and process improvement.

Mandy Cansler’s career in ophthalmology began at the ground level as a patient-facing technician, where she developed a deep understanding of clinical care and patient needs. Over the years, she progressed through a variety of roles—including team lead, clinical coordinator, director, and ultimately Chief Clinical Officer—gaining a
comprehensive, hands-on perspective of the entire patient journey and operational ecosystem. Her leadership spans multi-specialty practice management, clinical education, strategic operations, and national consulting. She now plans to focus that experience and industry expertise in the recruiting world as part of the Ocular Recruiting Team.
